“How much time does it take?”
- The answer varies a bit by location, but in my experience, the average is no more than about an hour or two per month.
- When I compare all of the time I have spent making phone calls, collecting petitions, working polls, going door-to-door, and talking to and meeting with elected officials, nothing compares to the impact-per-hours-spent of serving on central committee.
- Political parties are no more (or no less) than the people who serve inside them.
- If you want a new direction for the party you favor, the first step is putting new people in charge of it. The key to doing so is central committee.
